Worbarrow Bay and Tyneham on a lovely November day

Difficult to believe, but the first of November 2015 was an exceptionally lovely day for this time of year. The Lulworth Ranges were open that weekend and we took our visitors C & J to see Tyneham and take a walk around the ranges. Worbarrow Bay looked perfect and I want to share these couple of pictures.

Worbarrow Bay

We spent an hour or so looking at Tyneham Village and, new to me, Tyneham Farm. Then took a walk down to the Bay where we had a picnic lunch. After lunch, we climbed up to Flower’s Barrow along the South West Coast Path and were treated to this view at the top.IMG_20151101_142638724

We walked along the ridge, safely between the MoD yellow marker posts, past the trig point at Povington Hill, with glorious views all round, including Poole Harbour in the distance. At the car park we took the track back to Tyneham.

A wonderful day out.
